The Howlin' Wolf Story: The Secret History of Rock & Roll has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono. The performances and narration are in English with no multiple language options. Bonus materials include additional interview materials, a sidebar on the long-standing rivalry between Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, home-movies show by drummer Sam Lay, and audio from a rare live radio broadcast by Howlin' Wolf.
